Genesis Renji Releases First Book “The Book of Genesis: G.O.A.T Talk” To Motivate Others

Who’s the G.O.A.T.?

The Greatest of All Time (G.O.A.T.) debate has got to be up there with some of the most philosophical questions ever pondered. Whether the argument is solely opinion-based or actually backed by stats, even after hours of discussion, two people may never agree on the G.O.A.T.

Jordan or Kobe? Biggie or Pac?  Prince or MJ? Everybody has their favorite for some reason or another.

If one were to ask Genesis Renji who the GOAT was, he’d say the same four words every time, “I’m the f*****g G.O.A.T.”

When he isn’t performing, writing, or meticulously working behind the boards at the House of Renji recording studios, he has been dropping gems for his fans and followers on social media.

“I tweet a lot, and a lot of my statuses get good interaction and dope engagement,” he said.

As the COVID-19 pandemic basically decimated any chances at live performances for the year, Renji was already doubling down on staying in and perfecting his craft.

“Regardless if there was a pandemic or not, I wasn’t going to perform last year because I just wanted to record,” he said. “I wanted to go for a new sound, and perfect it to make it my signature style now.”

Inspired to Write A Book

As the year rounded down, he looked over his 2020 goals list. There was still one thing that he knew was possible to finish before the end of the year—write a book.

The inspiration came from his friend, Richon Martená. She commented on one of his motivational statuses, that he needed to write his own “Book of Genesis” because his social media was almost like a positive self-help guide.

Genesis Renji released “The Book of Genesis: G.O.A.T Talk: Words to Motivate, Manifest, & Move” on December 3, 2020.

“The book came out of nowhere, really. It was the Wednesday before Thanksgiving, and I just did it over the weekend,” he said. “I picked the ones that resonated the most, and then gave a quick explanation about them and broke them down a little bit. Then, I spent like a day to sort them into three sections: motivation, manifestation, and movement.”

“It was like putting together an album—with just lyrics,” he said.

Diving into the Book

An example in the Motivational section is “Divine Timing.” He touches on practicing patience, but not using it as a crutch to wait for the right time. He goes on to say that when a person plays the waiting game, they lose out on their own time.

From “Living Your Dream” and “Recognition,” to “Apply Pressure” and “C.R.E.A.M,” Renji discloses motivational life lessons from a firsthand perspective.

He said he has been hearing good feedback, and it’s been doing what he wanted it to do.

“It’s quick, easy read, and straight to the point. It’s a gem holder really, it’s to remind people that they’re good, they just need a boost or a kick to keep going,” he said. Order the book here.
